Hamilton-Niagara is a scheduled run along the QEW. Seasonal-park owners are the most common customers here, and grouping neighbouring sites on the same visit is often possible. Mention your park when you request an estimate.
Hamilton and Grimsby under the Escarpment, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls along the QEW, Welland and Port Colborne through the canal country, and Fort Erie and Dunnville along the Erie shore. The whole peninsula rides one scheduled run.
Two lakes, and winters that can’t make up their mind
Niagara’s mild winters sound like good news for a roof. They aren’t. Instead of freezing once and staying frozen like Muskoka, the peninsula crosses zero degrees over and over all winter, and every crossing is a freeze-thaw cycle prying at whatever crack it can find. More cycles per winter means sealant fails here on a faster clock than raw cold would manage.
Between Ontario on one side and Erie on the other, the peninsula also lives in permanent lake humidity. Seams stay damp, small leaks never dry out between rains, and seasonal units (parked in the same orientation for years) weather unevenly, with the lake-facing side always further gone. When we inspect here, we always walk both sides; owners are routinely surprised by the difference.

Sun Retreats Sherkston Shores
Five hundred and sixty acres on the Lake Erie shore near Port Colborne. One of the biggest seasonal RV destinations in the province. On-site service with the resort’s okay, and same-visit neighbour groupings work especially well here.
Fifty Point Conservation Area, Grimsby
Lakefront camping on Lake Ontario at the peninsula’s west gate. The parks and marinas along this stretch of the QEW anchor the Hamilton end of our runs.
Long Beach & the Erie shore
The conservation-area campground at Wainfleet and the private parks toward Fort Erie face Erie’s open fetch. Wind-worked seams and fast-weathering lake sides are the signature here.

Why does my trailer’s lake side look so much older than the other side?
Years parked in one orientation, with wind and weather always arriving from the water. Uneven aging is normal on seasonal sites, but it means the lake side’s seams need attention on their own schedule, not the whole roof’s average.
