What mild, wet winters do to a Niagara RV roof
Mild winters sound easy on a roof. They aren’t. The peninsula crosses zero degrees over and over all winter, and every crossing is a freeze-thaw cycle working at whatever crack it finds. Humidity off Lake Ontario and Lake Erie keeps seams damp. Trailers parked the same way for years weather unevenly, so we walk the lake side first.

Why does my trailer’s lake side look so much older than the other side?
Years parked facing the same way, with wind and weather always coming off the water. Uneven aging is normal on seasonal sites. It means the lake side’s seams need attention on their own schedule, not on the whole roof’s average.
