How does Ontario weather wear out an RV roof?

Ontario wears a roof out in a few predictable ways, and which one leads depends on where your trailer is parked. Sun is the slow one. UV breaks down the membrane until it chalks, and a chalky roof lets go of its sealant. Freeze-thaw is the fast one: water gets into a hairline crack, freezes, and opens it a little wider every time the temperature crosses zero. Near the big lakes, humidity doesn’t cause leaks, but it keeps every small one wet. In the snowbelt, weeks of snow load press meltwater against the seams. Under trees, shade keeps the roof damp, sap glues debris down, and moss lifts sealant edges. On open shorelines, wind works at membrane edges. In the city, traffic film leaves a greasy layer that new sealant won’t stick to. Whatever the cause, the habit that catches it is the same: a look at the seams in spring and fall.

How do mobile visits work at a campground, storage lot or cottage?

We come to your trailer and fix the roof where it’s parked. It starts with photos: a few wide shots of the roof, close-ups of anything that worries you, and the ceiling inside if there’s a stain. Then tell us where the unit sits. At a campground or seasonal site, give us the park name and your site number, and check that the park allows service visits. At a storage lot, confirm the lot’s okay and send a photo of how it’s parked, so we know there’s room for a ladder. At a cottage, the fire route number gets us there. Travel is one of the factors in every estimate. We confirm it up front, before anything is booked. If neighbours want their roofs checked too, we can often do them the same day. Close to base we book quickly, and farther out we plan runs ahead.
